“Mamecco(豆cco)” where you can enjoy exquisite tofu(豆腐) dishes
Go straight from Shijo-dori St.(四条通) to Gion-koji St.(ぎをん小路) to the north, and you will see the “Mamecco(豆cco)” lantern.
It is a small shop with seven seats in the counter and it is a calm space.
This time I ate yudofu(bean curd hot pot).

“Hisago(ひさご)” you can eat delicious Oyako-don(親子丼)
“Hisago(ひさご)” is a short walk from the main gate of Yasaka Shrine (white torii on the south side).
Oyako-don(親子丼) is Chicken and Egg rice bowl.
“Hisago(ひさご)” was founded in 1945. In addition to the popular Oyakodon(親子丼), you can also eat 100% Matcha green tea soba.

Fluffy Oyakodon(親子丼)! Kujo leek(九条ネギ) and soft chicken are also delicious.

“Kiritoshi Shinshindo(切り通し進々堂)” is a Maiko’s favorite restaurant in Gion. Inside the restaurant, a fan with Maiko ‘s name is filling the wall.
My recommendation is egg sandwich.

It is located very close to Shijō-Dori St.(四条通), but the inside of the restaurant is very quiet.
Inside the restaurant is very quiet and you can forget the hustle and bustle of the tourist area and take a rest during your trip.
Gion’s long-established udon(うどん) restaurant “Okaru(おかる)”
Udon(うどん) restaurant of a long-established store in Gion(祇園), “Okaru(おかる)”.
It is also a Maiko’s favorite restaurant.
Inside the restaurant, fan with a name of Maiko and name and sign paper of celebrity are stuck on the wall a lot. It is loved by various people.
The most popular is cheese meat curry udon.

Open until 2:30am or 3:00am in the evening.
Udon noodle can be increased by 220 yen.
Cantonese restaurant near Shirakawa Shopping Street(白川商店街) “Morikou(森幸)”
At “Morikou(森幸)” near Shirakawa(白川) Ipponbashi(一本橋), you can enjoy a daily lunch for 800 yen at lunchtime.
Shirakawa Ichibosaku(白川一本橋).
In the morning, college students are often crossing the bridge.
There is a course menu, and at lunchtime you can eat “Morikou(森幸)” special lunch box” (1,000 yen) at noon.
